SOME PROJECTS WE’VE DEVELOPED
The Modern Mining Solutions (MMS) team, a sister company of Mega Mines, developed, patented, constructed and operated plasma heating systems for the ‘smart smelting’ of head ores and concentrates, e-waste recycling, and medical waste destruction.
Plasma-based system benefits:
1) Recovers the actual atoms of the metals, thereby providing more efficiency, and yielding higher concentrations per ton of material than conventional techniques.
2) Has substantially fewer emissions than traditional refining. Plasma readily outperforms EPA allowances for regulated air emissions, and is orders of magnitude lower than emissions typical of induction furnaces, incinerators, and similar fire-based systems.
3) The modular nature of system allows for the ability to scale production capacity as needed.
CRT Glass Recycling
One of the greatest challenges for the U.S. and International communities with respect to e-waste, are Cathode Ray Tubes (CRTs). On average 590,000 tons per year of CRTs will need to be managed in the US alone over the next ten years.
Studies have shown that when CRT’s are sent to landfill sites, lead can leach from the crushed glass and contaminate struction Medical waste remediation using plasma is the only process capable of destroying all hazardous materials and/or converting them to benign and/or beneficial products such as glass, slag and regulated off gases, including gaseous fuels.
Plasma provides an effective alternative to the traditional incineration process. Plasma provides a high level of waste destruction achieving DRE levels of 99.99999% or higher for many hazardous organic compounds. Volume reduction as high as 300 to 1 for typical hazardous waste streams.
JW Marriott Residence
Originally designed for the oil and gas industry, Recovered Earth Technology’s (RET) Wastewater Treatment (WWT) Systems are unparalleled by competitors in terms of water purification and cost.
Mega Mines, Inc.
Mega Mines, Inc. is a publicly traded company involved in the exploration and exploitation of gold, silver and copper deposits in North America. Currently actively mining gold ore from its first mining concession. It owns and has rights to 10 additional mining concessions. Each concession will be actively mined and subsequently put up for sale to larger mining companies once its reserves have been proven.
